There isn't even a fight that needs to be promoted. This would make sense if they were actually scheduled to fight. However, we know that Wlad is tied up with back to back #1 contenders for the WBO and IBF. Haye should get into the ring and make a name for himself in the heavyweight division. You know, people can actually create a buzz for a big fight by fighting and winning in impressive fashion over top contenders. Trying to trash talk your way into a fight that you don't deserve isn't respectable. Disrespecting Wlad like that when the entire boxing world knows that Wlad can't even think about fighting anyone else in his next two fights... yet this joke is acting like Wlad is ducking him. I have news for the rest of the world.... over here in America, nobody even knows who the hell David Haye is. He needs to actually get his ass in the ring and prove himself rather than disrespecting a respectful person in a shopping mall. I hate when people take advantage of other people's maturity and kindness. Haye knows that Wlad is too much of a true professional to pop him in the mouth, so he took advantage of it.

Wouldn't it make more sense for Haye to be calling out someone who he could actually fight in his next fight... or even this year? The guy is doing nothing but make himself look like a clown.

I take it you didn't watch the Oscar V Hopkins fight at 160 then, seeing as Oscar hadn't earnt his shot?

Haye has more belts at Cruiser than WALD does at heavy, and he also has 1 win at heavyweight, same amount Oscar had at 160 when he fought B-Hop.

Feel free to explain why you're not a biased nut-hugger.

haye has no history of doing things like this, he doesn't talk trash about hs opponents and what does haye's popularity in america have to do with deserving a shot?

from what i hear wladimir isn't very well known either.

What are you talking about? Hoya was the WBO belt holder. He was the only other guy at MW with a belt besides Hopkins.

See my above post. You're making yourself look ridiculous if you think everyone that moves up a weight has to work their way through the top 10 at that weight to get to the champion. It doesn't work like that, never has.

Haye is just trying to get in WALDS head, this **** happens time and time again and never gets taken seriously, but the WALD fans are all upset over this for some reason. It's nonsense.

I still found that video funny, though. Haye seemed a bit hyped up while Wlad was all calm, softly speaking to him like a child. :rofl

1 fight at 160, against an average fighter which he lost on pretty much everyones cards. Haye has had 1 fight at heavyweight which he won by first round KO. My point is Haye is just as much an established heavyweight as Oscar was a middleweight when he fought Hopkins. The mis-match that resulted kind of proves my point.

In a way, Wlad might be smart to postpone a mandatory and take this fight sooner rather than later. Assuming he isn't exposed by a lesser fighter (very possible) Haye might be more dangerous in a year or two than he is now.

The heavyweight division is completely different than divisions that are only apart by a few pounds. Besides that, I know that you aren't trying to compare Oscar's star power to that of David Haye. David Haye is a nobody in the boxing world, I'm sorry to say. He is a talented fighter, but the man has a few good wins in the Cruiserweight division, and people aren't exactly foaming at the mouth to see him fight for the Heavyweight Title over here. You also seem to forget that Oscar at least held the WBO title when he fought Hopkins..... however as I said before, that doesn't even matter. Lighter weight classes are a different story. When you have a guy who was fighting at a weight 40 pounds below what Wlad weighs... it's not the same thing. That is more like If Juan Diaz was to jump from 135 and fight for the 175 pound title. 40 pound difference. Wlad would get NO credit for beating Haye unless Haye proves himself.

what did hatton do to get a shot at floyd?

what did joe calzage do to get a shot at bernard?

what did rjj do to get a shot at ruiz?

i dont see why haye is any different.

Wlad can't postpone his mandatory. That isn't his choice. Besides that, his mandatories have actually earned their title shots.
