Floyd looked jittery to me though it may just be the editing on the video. Would be awesome for Ortiz if he went in and straight out fought floyd.

It was a fun little face-off, I didn't think it was as awkward as other people have. Believe it or not, Ortiz seemed light years away from where he was speaking-wise just a few years ago. Hopefully he's getting good media training.

This fight is still a gross mismatch. I'm seeing Floyd with his first KO in a couple years. Yeah, I said it.

so hes gonna get schooled bc he's not the best speaker? I dnt think english is his first language.

But u guys are making way too much out of this ****, as usual when the pre-fight stuff happens.

He is from Kansas maybe when he was a kid before school he didnt know much english but I am sure his English is just as good as the next person.

What I noticed from this is that Victor clearly doesnt feel like he has proven enough, the mind set the kid has makes for a dangerous opponent to face, Though Floyds skill will be the factor, Victor does not have the best footwork and thats where he will pay a price if its not corrected.

However if he gets off a clean shot and jumps on Floyd that south paw style will give him a bigger chance at finishing where Mosley couldnt....

I like Floyd in this honestly 10th round stoppage...

People are reading too far into this...Ortiz is new to all this media flash exposure so of course he was feeling awkward...he will be in a different mind set once training camp kicks off.

Good faceoff. Ortiz is a little nervous in his first big fight but who wouldn't be in his position? I think come fight night he will be ready and will bring it. PBF if he isn't his old self could be in trouble, especially early.

Be ****ing real Martinez is two weight classes above him, if your going to talk **** about that you may as well throw pac in there as well.... Martinez is a good choice for either but in reality there comes a point in which a fight doesnt make sense... this one does not, though we love Martinez as a fighter, and not to discredit him, but Martinez beating either Manny or Floyd really means nothing you have a man two divisons north of both guys he would only do what he was supposed to do....
