Yeah, I don't know why people are calling this a tuneup. A tuneup is like the fight Pavlik has upcoming against Darryl Cunningham or Marquez's fight with Ramos. You don't fight a tuneup against one of the top fighters in the sport who is a current champ, who's young, fast, and has power in both hands. Ortiz might end up getting schooled, but this is no tuneup.

Ortiz has been saying the same thing since the fight was announced. "This is my belt and no one is taking it away from me". Ask him about his game plan and he says "I don't know". Victor is going to train to bumrush Floyd and hope he lands something big. If he doesn't he is getting an ass beating.

It's a tune-up because of the obvious chasm talent-wise between these two. Most of the boxing world recognizes the fact that there are really only 1 or 2 people that can truly challenge Floyd. We've been watching him for years, and we all know he's just THAT good.

Doubt Floyd would even pay the sanctioning fee for that piece of **** belt.

Pacquiao will try to fight Ortiz after Mayweather beats him!!! I have this feeling Floyd will be left to fight Khan! Pacquiao will not take the test! Arum will cook up some bull!
