Am I the only one that thinks Ortiz is a top choice of an opponent? I like the guy, he has heart, he has the skill, he has the physique and the punch power...yea, he is inexperienced, but Floyd has been off for a while, it would be silly jumping the gun until he is all warmed up.

Now fight against JMM was a COMPLETE FARCE. Any "boxing fan" that supported that fight should be forced to watch WWE all day as punishment.

Great face off. Both guys save their talk for the ring. breath of fresh air from the despicable David Haye. I don't know why everybody keeps bringing up "Floyd has trouble with southpaws"

Victor Ortiz could have the best matchmaking in the history of the sport in the last 2. Faced one of the most overrated in the sport in Berto to get the WW title. Now gets a shot vs Floyd off a 16 month layoff at 34 with nothing to lose. He is the champion given no shot to win and if he loses w/o quitting his stock goes up. if he wins he makes history.

In my book if Floyd stops Ortiz or sweeps almost all the rounds that is ****in gangsta.
i think gonna be a tough fight Ortiz will win and Floyd will school him in the rematch. Too much time out of the ring and not enough young prime fighters in the last few years for a reflex, timing, angels type fighter like Floyd.
He gonna be a little rusty and surprised with Ortiz's conditioning and offense.

    I agree 100%.

I think he cannot overlook Ortiz. Ortiz looked ****ing beast vs Berto.

    The old Shanes? Undersized Marquez?

Who did Manny fight last? Oh yeah, an even older Mosley.
Who is Manny fighting next? Oh yeah, the same undersized Marquez.

Manny's record isn't bullet proof, far from it.

They should at least make use of the set up and arm wrestle or something.

Ha! Max Kellerman looked like he might have **** himself a little, when Victor turned his anger towards him due to the 'no heart' comments.

The ominous background music gets irritating pretty quick.
