Annoyed that anyone would have the nerve to suggest his astonishing success is down to cheating, Hopkins all but threatened to kill Pascal in the ring!

"When a guy says I'm eating some kind of candy, that makes me angry," Hopkins said. "Don't be surprised if he dies in the ring on May 21. Don't be surprised if I kill him. That's how angry I am."

Hopkins, as fans may recall, got himself into some trouble when he came out with his "I'll never let. White boy beat me;" ahead of his big fight with Joe Calzaghe.

What will the critics have to say about this outburst? One writer has already compared the statement to something Mike Tyson might say or have said. Will B-Hop be in hot water over what his emotions forced him to say?

I read no further then the red and bold. "The amazing 46 year old said he would take any test at all, knowing he is clean and can prove it." Are you ****ing kidding me? I can't even begin to say how pissed off I am at this ****. Thats not even close to what the **** happened. Not to mention Hopkins basically stated the exact opposite. This type of out and out lying from a known boxing journalist is rediculous. I've always been skeptical of boxing media because I know that more then any other sport prize fighting is a bussiness based on promotions and it only makes sense that journalist who cover the sport would be in on the promotion, as good promotions are good for the sport. But this level of out and out lying to protect the marketability and reputation of one fighter is way too much favourtism. Its rediculous.atsch
