Video: James Toney calls out Don King, Sam Peters, Wlad and his sister, Vitali

Difference is "Rocky" in the MOVIES is punch drunk....James....well, James just has that kind of voice and accent where he picked up in MI. For someone to be punch drunk they would have needed to take a lot o punishement. James is usually the one giving out the punishement...he rarely takes it which is why he is still able to compete at this level at this age. His speech has been the same....so has his trash talk.:good

 

Ok maybe not punch drunk, but he sounds nothing like he used to. He didn't used to sound like he'd been drinking for 12 rounds instead of boxing...

 

He is hysterical.

But why is he calling out my third grade teacher in Catholic School, Sister Vitalia? I know she was a ***** but c'mon Toney. She's retired.

 

James still sounds the same bro.....Did you check out the interview that he did with Nigle Benn and Chris Eubanks? Oh Man, that is classic JT and he still sounds like he's drunk.....but James is a funny *******. yeah...he's a little rude and abbrassive but it's not like he's like that outside of the sport and business aspect of his proffession.

He should not fight Peter for the third time.

Toney's speech has deterioated due to the 2 Peter fights. Peter throw vicious rabbit punches that caused brain damage. Peter should have been DQ.

Toney should fight Thompson.

 

Toney has zero chance Vs. Vitali or Vlad, they would murder him!!!!!!!

 

Toney's one of my al time favourite fighters but I don't think anyone can deny that his speech is seriously affected. There may not medically be any telling signs now but things like parkinson's usually take years to develop. I want to see him quit now while there's still a hope he can come away unscathed. He needs to be kept away from the wlad and vitali for his own protection. I don't think he really believes he can beat either of them, he just prides himself on not getting ko'd these days.

 

Well yes, it has deterioated.

It was OK before the Rahman and the Peter fighters. The deterioation is especially due to the 2 peter fighters and I suspect to the vicious rabbit punches thrown by Peter. It has been proven that rabbit punches can cause brain damage and you can kill a guy with these kond of punches. But the refere did not act in accordingly.

Now, while James' speech has deterioated, he still knows how to fight and his reflexes are still intact. He is a fighter, so the deterioation of the speech is a risk you have to face.

 

Nobody knocks JT out.

Toney has a granit chin and a solid defense.
The Klitchkos would have a hard time to connect on the still elusive Toney.

 

Toney's last fight was against Oquendo. Toney won against Oquendo.

Toney looked against Rahman II.He made him quit after 3 rounds.

In his five year heavyweight campain Toney has only been beaten by Peter. That is pretty impressive for a man who started out at 160 and now is 40 year old.
