Lol, im not hating, I was once one of the people who used to say Khan would also give Floyd trouble.

I think the style Mayweather would fight best if to fight backing up and countering for the first few round, I cant see Khan troubling Floyd too much here.

It will only take upto round 4 for Khan to wear down, which is when Floyd will press the attack, fight more on the inside and possibly knock khan out during the middle rounds.

Well that's how I see it. How do you?

i would like a technical break down of how floyd beats khan from someone using previous fights, and what style they'll use.

I know floyds a much better boxer. But style wise. I can see what Khan did against Judah, Malignagi and Mccloskey. Fighters that like to counter the 1st shot, and they just coundn't do it against Khan.

Cos he know has quicker foot speed than mayweather. I don't think he needs to fight at floyds range. (floyd is so dangerous at mid mage and close range) He can just keep the fight at a distance using his range.

    :good

I think floyd needs to fight on the front foot too for most of the fight, contantly countering with hard shots. And if they fought i would favour mayweather.

But I also think Khan has a better chance out of everyone out there cos he can just fight his usual fight against floyd. Where as alot of fighters have to adapt to floyd.

Khan has the speed to beat Void. However, Void is so very busy running from Pac that he can't think straight!

khan is easy work for nobody.. mayweather was on the run against castillo just like khan was against peterson.. only diff was money may didn't get 2 points off

khan may be a bit overrated.. but he's still very fast and a pretty durable fighter.. one of the finest in his class... and only 25 years old.

At this points in Floyd's career, Khan will give him trouble.

If Floyd was his younger, more active, more athletic self...forget it. Khan would be lost, confused, and TKO'd.

    But Now:
People shouldn't overlook that Floyd is 35 years old, relatively an inactive fighter and has declined over the years. Certain fighters with their styles and youth will start to bother him at this point in his career.

But Floyd will always have his I.Q./ring generalship, and incredible boxing ability. He is the best in the game with that.

But when does that stop being enough ?
When does his age, declined athletic ability which causes him to be more flat-footed and less limber, and inactivity catch up to him?

Younger, more active, hungry, good endurance, fast/athletic fighters can take advantage of an aging/declining more flat-footed fighter even if that aging veteran is smarter and more skilled.

If Floyd takes control, ups his own tempo like he used to be able to do...adjusts...then yes, Floyd wins as usual.

Khan's problem is that he isn't well rounded. Makes mistakes. Isn't that good at adapting and so on. But work-rate, athletic ability, endurance, speed, agility, and even toughness is all there. If that's enough...I don't know. Interesting matchup.

Khan has to beat Peterson first. And Peterson isn't as good as even this version of Mayweather.
So, I would wait a little longer to make that matchup if I was Khan's people. Late Next year.

Plus, let's view it from the judges stand-point...even the fans. A lot of times they like the "Flash" and work-rate even if that fighter isn't landing. That favors Khan.
But it just depends on how Floyd decides to fight and if he can still fight the way he needs to.

I still favor Floyd like Paulie said. It's his ability to adjust that is incredible. Ring I.Q./Generalship, boxing ability...brilliant.
And because of that, I wonder if Floyd is able to force Khan into fighting His {Floyd's} fight and at that pace because Floyd can make you second guess yourself.

very good video....I agree with Malignaggi and Jones because of Khan's reach and activity he could win some rounds or even win, but Floyd is so good at ad******g his style who knows.

Im glad Roy Jones is training fighters now, I love when he commentates he is always spot on and often spends half the broadcast correcting the other guys

It's funny to see how Roy Jones gives Pauli respect cause he went to the Ukraine to win a title by stoppage and he himself went to Russia and got the living **** knocked out of him.

I think Khan barely lays a glove on Floyd, Khan is a one dimensional flurrier, when he finds that none of his shots are getting through Floyds defense, he'll fall apart.

Mayweather counters Khan all night long and makes him look foolish.

This fight isn't even worth watching.

Floyds style of defense does not block all of khans shots. No chance.

Mayweahter would get hit more by Khan than anyone else at 140/147
