haven't watched the vid yet but to those who doesn't know, philippine culture/tradition officially starts their christmas season once we enter the "ber" months. yesterday was september already and it's normal that you will hear christmas songs playing on the radio already.

Philippines celebrates the longest Xmas season starting September 'til December.

 

The wife says it's around Christmas time things become a lot more expensive. I heard that even the bribes that people have to pay to bureaucrats go up.

Well then, "Maligayang Pasko!"

 

I don't do weekend trips:nono You need at least 2 days to get over the travel time & jet lag, I'am flying direct from gatwick so thats an 11 hour flight + 3 hours to the airport & 3 hours check-in, so time i get out of bed for the trip (Thats if i can get some sleep before i leave at 5.30am) so time i get through U.S.immigration about 1 hour (Please GOD) & get checked into hotel, about 1 hour, it'll be around 19 hours from home to hotel room + Vegas is 8 hours back from UK time & I arrive in Vegas at 2pm west coast time.

So after a 19 hour trip if i'am lucky it'll still be 4pm in the Vegas afternoon & after a room shower & **** i'am in the casino bars at around 5.30pm. .

So thats why i'll be hitting Vegas on the tuesday 8th November. Anyone going from Europe should never leave it later than thurday or you'll be totally brain fragged. Now if you ai'nt flying DIRECT then add on a minimum of another 4 hours for connecting flights + possible longer U.S.immigration delays.

Hotels can be as cheap as chips all depending where you want to stay. But i caution you that Vegas is no longer a cheap ****-up, it's ****in pricey.

Anyway **** the cost & **** the credit card, yer gotta live & expeareance the "Only in America" Las Vegas big fight buzz. Even if you only ever go once (You won't as Vegas gets the hook into yer) you'll never ever forget the incredible expeareance it actually is to be part of the big fight atmosphere. If you go with a travel group you can get it for around say £750 or less flight/hotel. I don't as i fly bizzness class & use my airmiles + i book my hotel direct. Anyway if you ai'nt got the $$$ now then save up!!! Where there's a way:yep there's always a way!!!:deal It's just down to how bad you want it!!:yep:deal
