Good summary. I agree that that Salido rematch should be the next step.

However, let's not forget the WBO Interim champion and Loma's current mandatory Miguel Berchelt. Lomachenko might have to face him next.

Salido, Vargas, Coralles/Uchyama rematch winner before any talk of moving up i want him to dominate a division first and all the vaginas at 126 prevented him from doing so there.

    Good video, Rummy.

I can take a Salido rematch or leave it.

    Purely a formality.

I scored the first match for Lomachenko, despite the record number of low blows and Salido coming in two weight classes over.

Since then, Lomachenko has improved and Salido barely made it to the final bell first time around.

He absolutely won't go the distance in any rematch, unless it's an Ali Terrell situation.

I believe that skill wise, Loma is the best in the game at the minute.

The only boxers I have on his level over the last couple of decades are RJJ, Floyd and Pea.

When you consider his offensive arsenal and footwork, he's certainly a more exciting and more complete boxer than Floyd or Pea, who would have a clear edge defensively over him. He obviously cannot be put at their level on account of his seven fight resume.

He reminds me in many ways of Roy, but from a purely technical point of view, he's better.

The similarity lies in his taking the early rounds to size up his opponent, then systematically deconstruct him, and finally, toy with him till the end comes.

Last night's little wave at the end of seven was goodbye. Walters knew he was going to get stopped, so he calculated (or panicked) that a quit might not be a bad as a stoppage.

I'm not sure what's next for Vasyl. Maybe Salido and Vargas in either order and then on to LW and Linares.

I don't see any challenge for him whatsoever until he gets to Crawford, a fight I can't wait to see.

Good video. I would be happy to see Hi-Tech exact his revenge upon Salido for all the low blows (without which, we may not be having this conversation), but yeah, no way will Mikey face Lomachenko any time soon and failing that, I'm hoping he will continue his disregard for convention and move up seeking risk and hence, greatness.

GGG is a broken dream at this point.

I myself am not convinced he will be able to effortlessly move up in weight classes. But I'm curious to see how things play out. And I definitely am still interested in the Salido rematch, even though I suspect Lomachenko does perform much better in a 2nd go around.
