Still planning to do Archie, probably the next one. Although, I may take some tangents before I resume these.
Please do! An Archie HW resume would be awesome as so many don’t even know of his accomplishments there
I want to do Archie so badly. BUT - after scrubbing through all of his fights that I have available, I think I'm going to continue working around him for the time being. The quality of the footage I have available just isn't cutting it for me, and I still can't stand the fact that I've never seen anything from the Tony Anthony bout.
It only becomes an official Marciano thread when the above poster contributes his predictably standard piece of worthless snark. That aside another great Rumsfeld video. Thanks for sharing with us.
the guy made a high quality video. It’s legitimately good content, not another poll or agenda thread. Sit down boi <3
Marciano Walcott II is an interesting fight, because there is controversy about what actually happened. Having watched it many times, I have always felt the the knockdown was legitimate. That still leaves a lot of room for interpretation however!
or when the usual lathering gents gather to pay homage, ignoring the thousands of other champs who came before and since because they are not really fans of boxing but adherents to some bizarre cult... the motivation behind which I would rather not comment.
I think Liston, Walcott and Patterson, each losing in one round as ex-champions...were contracted into automatic rematches I don’t think they wanted enough to mentally do themselves justice.
