Or perhaps their conquerors, simply had them in their place mentally. Losing becomes easier, the more you do it!
Yeah, I think so. They were so beaten mentally yet they were contracted to go through with it a second time. I think the three of them went in the ring half beat.
Or maybe they're genuine boxing fans who appreciate an underdog who worked his arse off and ultimately succeeded instead of being sarcastic turds who holds Marciano's pigmentation against him because they're jealous size queen's or slavish adherents to the myth of the black superman.
Great stuff. Rocky must have been hella strong. I've read several accounts of the Moore fight, and Moore claimed the ref saved Rocky from that early knockdown. Baloney! Rocky got up almost immediately. Marciano would have been a terror in the CW division of today.
Seriously, was there a frame of footage in that video that you haven't seen before... ad nauseum? And do you want to name all the world champs with equal or greater championship records, who didn't work their arses off? Or since you brought it up, name the black and brown pioneers who had to suffer more than sarcasm in their quest for the top ranks in the sport? Good Lord, get a room.
Get over yourself. Most of us appreciate fighters regardless of what their skin tone is. People like you seem to have the issues and have to have digs at Marciano based purely on his ethnicity (I've seen you refer to him as a guido and a guinea and I still don't get why you weren't banned for it). You do the same with Dempsey too. Contribute nothing to threads concerning them except add tedious prepared put downs or bitchy asides. Everyone can see it coming a mile off and has heard it from you before ad nauseum. It's gotten very old. If you don't like these fighters or feel they're overexposed then why even contribute to the threads? Is it ego or are you that insecure that you can't stand to see an "inferior" white athlete getting props Mr trackstar/power lifter/tough man contest terror?
And what does sprouting wood over same tired old footage of Marciano contribute to the forum? It's redundant and frankly embarrassing that so many could find so little in the sport that they have to return to the same fighter and the same footage over and over. I contribute as time allows, lately with threads about Azumah Nelson, Danny Lopez, Zack Padilla... But apparently that is digging a little too deep for this crowd. (e per la tua conoscenza, sono mezzo italiano, parlo italiano e ho lavorato in Italia.)
You're a hero to this forum Seamus. I will say that your threads might not have resonated as well as you liked precisely because of who posted them. Think about it.
