I'm glad he didn't hit poor Rocky.... Martin would have probably KO'd him cold.

    Good vid though.

At least he is honest. GGG is the most fundamentally basic fighter in boxing but he has mastered it. Like the boxing version of Tim Duncan.

Only a athletic fighter like a prime Roy Jones/ Hamed type of guy that is unorthodox can get by is style.

Very good video. It's nice to hear a fighter being honest in what went on in a fight.

I believe he is moving back to MW. He said he feels that he is too small for SMW but has to kill himself for MW. He does not want to be at a disadvantage so he would rather cut the weight.

Sounds like an Arthur Abraham type situation, though Arthur chose to stick up at 168 instead of killing himself to cut down as he got into his 30's. Must be tough to truly be a middle ground between weight classes, considering how many there already are.

hes duncan and ginobili combined. he hits you from angles nobody else does, he hits you with punches nobody else hits you with, he covers ground to pressure you like very few can... and hes got a pretty good punch.

I think people took the Mayweather "up and down nothing special" comment to a different level. Floyd was right, if you are a boxer you can see that Gennady is super fundamental and basic to the letter. That is the type of fighter that Floyd loves to fight but the weight issue is real. The only real threat to GGG's dominance is Andre Ward because that is Ward's specialty too, exploiting basic fighters.

I really mean it. Other than that between 154 and 168 he is untouchable. Maybe Andrade if he had a few fights. Lara is good at making a fight ugly but he can't take a punch really (see. Angulo and Canelo fights) without becoming fleet of foot for the next 3 rounds. Uhh....that's it. Everyone else kisses the deck or lets the ref "save" them.

GGG hits hard. Not the first boxer to do so.
