GGG knocked out a tough, tough man in Murray, the only man ever to do so. Murray has an iron chin. Brook is going down and staying there first time GGG connects fully.

What a sensible post. I think Golovkins size overcomes Mayweather but I'd rather not discuss that anyway. I was never one to push for that fight. Ward, like Mayweather, is a cerebral fighter. They fight their fight based on their opponent and if it isn't working they adjust. It's much easier to do that against a textbook fighter than an awkward fighter. I always saw it as a sort of triangle. Defensive/spoiler/cerebral types have the advantage over textbook fundamental fighters. Fundamentalist have advantages when exploiting flaws in awkward fighters while awkward fighters give cerebral fighters looks that they have trouble adapting to. Obviously you can't put everyone's style in a category but I notice that trend sometimes.
