I can't stand Kellerman busting a nut at the thought of a rematch. He made it sound like the fight was full of back and forth action since the start of the first bell. Julio gets major props for that 10-8 rd but that doesn't negate all the rounds in which Sergio won. I don't mind seeing a rematch but not immediately. Sergio deserves a big payday against Canelo or Cotto. Chavez can earn his rematch with Sergio by getting back on the winning track. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight Quillin, maybe Pavlik.

I've read that the drinking of the other fighter's bottle used to be done in the olden days of boxing. First time I've seen this myself.

my respect for chavez grew tonight. he has a lot to work on. i hope this fight didn't ruin him mentally like pavlik-hopkins. he also gained the respect of many including martinez. if he can take the positive from this and learn from it, maybe not run camp the way he wants he can get another title at 168. i actually he gained more tonight in his loss than canelo gained in knocking out lopez.
