As I mentioned to some people here, I was in the process of uploading this fight yesterday. This was Mina's first (and as it turned out, only) fight in the US. Hank was regarded as just a "blown up MW" and was expected to be a good showcase fight for the highly touted Mina. However, he gave Mina a surprisingly tough test as he departed from his usual slugging style and cleverly danced and flurried throughout the fight. The end result was a close split decision. Who do you believe deserved it? Because of that, Johnson eventually settled on Willie Pastrano as his next challenger, who managed to dance and jab his to a hotly disputed decision and end Johnson's reign. Had Johnson fought a come-forward aggressor like Mina or Hank as he had initially trained to do, he might still have been the champion (as it turned out, he did fight Hank sometime afterward and beat him decisively). Hank tried to push for a shot at Johnson's successor Pastrano, but a retina injury was discovered as he prepared for his second fight in the US, and he was basically barred from fighting in the US again. He spent the remainder of his career fighting in his native Peru.
