Adrenaline dump? He looked discouraged because he thought he had a KO coming and couldn't seal the deal. By the end of the round Floyd was walking straight at Mosley and he landed a few clean shots. Mosley went back to his corner looking discouraged, not exhausted. He rarely threw the right again because there just wasn't a home for it. Floyd started putting his left up when they got close. When Mosley tried to throw it Floyd either moved in and smothered, moved away and made Mosley whiff, or simply got off first and interrupted him. It amuses me to no end to watch people try to twist a fight where Floyd clearly won into a blueprint to beat him. Beats Mosley 11 rounds to 1 and he was lucky to get out alive. Takes 8 or 9 rounds off of Judah and he's vulnerable. KOs Hatton, and Hatton's footspeed gave him trouble. Fights a much bigger DLH and is never once in trouble of being KOed, wins a comfortable decision, and DLH is the blueprint. Give it a rest. He got caught. It happens. He took a big punch and instead of backing off he put his gloves up and stayed right in front of Mosley. The sort of thing people said he wouldn't do, was incapable of doing, and he did it and now he's somehow vulnerable? What a load of crap you bunch are.
Mayweather grabbed Mosley's arm immediately after being hit. I mean, he had it before Mosley had a chance to pull it back. How would Pacquiao have avoided that? How could Mosley have thrown more punches when Floyd grabbed his arm before he had even finished following through on the first punch? Pac has a chance, sure, but this fight tells you ****-all about that chance.
So many people that dont know **** about boxing. Pac has been knocked out twice, hurt in several fights and saved from a third knockout lost by a corrupt ref and Floyd is the one with a weak chin because he was hurt by one of the p4p biggest punchers in boxing??? How the **** does that work??? All you hear is OH IF THAT WAS PAC, Well it it was Pac he wouldnt have landed a over hand right because he is a southpaw. And for the record if the fight happens between Floyd and pac I would bet anyone a ban for life that Pac's punchstat number go down from fights before.
if that was pac's left hand, i doubt floyd will last 12 rounds..if pac's left hand is good enough to knock hatton out and knock cotto down with a single punch, its good enough to knock floyd..
While I agree with some of this post, there is NO WAY Mosely is one of the biggest P4P punchers in boxing. Not even top ten. Keith
Pac doesnt have a reach advantage like Shane did. Who's to say he would even get close enough to land a punch on Floyd like that.
too many "pac woulda done this, done that" crap... just wait to see if the fight is made and then AFTER the results to make those judgements... atsch
although shane had a reach advantage, he throws short punches and he is a inside boxer, minimizing that advantage. pac on the other hand is a midrange fighter throwing long weird looking punches.
Are you kidding? Shane is not an inside fighter. He punches best from mid-range, the same distance that Pac punches from.
damn too literal guys nowadays..im sorry sir.what i meant by that is that if pac has that same clear punch with his dominant hand(left) that mosely had with his dominant hand(right)...get it now..try exerting more effort on comprehending...
we might be watching different shane then..from what i saw from his past few fights, he fights like bernard hopkins..i dont see him distance himself with his opponent..
Except that he wouldn't have landed that punch because the way the punch landed depended entirely on it coming from over and behind Mayweather's lead shoulder and catching him by surprise. A southpaw can't throw that punch, and Mayweather's high right hand makes landing a lead left on the other side of his face much harder. Your broader point, I think, is that if Pacquiao hit Mayweather really hard, and really clean, he could possibly knock him out. Well no ****. If any hard puncher hits another guy clean he could possibly knock him out. What the **** kind of revelation is that? In this specific instance, though, Pacquiao cannot replicate what Mosley did which relied on Mosley having both an orthodox stance, long arms, and being slightly taller than Floyd so he could throw over his shoulder.
Watch the Margarito or Mayorga fight and see where Shane generates the most power. It's when he has some space to work. Shane clinches to break up the other guy's rhythm and he has a decent left hook to the body, but he's not a very good inside fighter and he doesn't throw very short punches, even when in close.
my point is pac is better than shane in terms of power. shane is not a one punch ko guy. watch the margarito fight and you will see him land some big shots but are not enough to knock margo down. if pac has those same opportunity, it will only take one left hand.a hard one. i disagree on your point that pac wont generate the same circumstance that mosely had landing that right hand.pac is a lefty and lefties are successful against the D of mayweather.zab judah had a lot of success until the late rounds.
