Any ref should stop dirty fighting.

That's like a major aspect of their job

The way Maidana fought in the first fight doesn't belong in the sport of boxing, you cannot hit a man in his balls all night and on the back of the head.

Some of you people are nuts defending this scumbag, why don't you guys go spar some random idiot off the street that tries to crush your nuts for 12 rounds.

Bayless is more or less Floyds personal ref. He won't let Maidana get near him.

what a disgusting individiual floyd mayweather is, having faith in the ref stopping maidana from doing something not within the rules of boxing..

question: if maidana were to have a similiar interview and say the same about floyd and his elbow/forearm. would you make a thread and whine about it?

yeh i didnt think so ... atleast see yourself for the overly emotionally invested couch potato that you are..

Looks bad for maidana everyone get ready for a mayweather friendly referee

    This stinks already

Americans make me laugh they hate fighting outside of America if the lose they claim it was because they were fighting abroad . But when they fight at home they also insist on having an american ref and at least two american judges when they can get away with it . Americans have turned into the biggest cry-babies in boxing

atleast now we know the fight will not be as close as the first, I think when Mayweather looks like he's in trouble, Bayless will break it up.

Exactly, should be a comfortable UD win for Mayweather.

Which also after the fight, Mayweather stated that ''I gave the fans what they wanted to see''

    Bayless is a good referee.
I'm happy Cortez is retired, cause with him in the ring you might as well put one of this site's *****s in there.

Bayless is ok in my books, a little too vocal sometimes and can get in the way of the action, but overall a fair ref who will usually give the fighters an opportunity to fight out of the clinch.

Bayless is fair. He'll warn Floyd when the forearm gets out of hand. And Floyd will tone it down, before it results in losing points or a DQ. He will take points or DQ if Maidana does what he did last time. Sneaking in something here and there is being "cagey" or using "veteran tactics". Doing this excessively and in plain sight is grounds for a DQ. Kneeing and biting, especially, has no place in a boxing ring.

Garcia telling his fighter to be dirty in the last fight and saying they will be even dirtier this fight, is like a personal challenge, not just to Floyd, but, any ref worth his salt.
