Jones apparently had a similiar childhood, but his father was quite violent to boot. Jones grew up to be a fairly unique personality too.
It was a puff piece, and that's coming from a huge FMJ fan. Wasn't impressed at all with the documentary. It wasn't in depth at all, it was a half assed effort. I was surprised at how nice ODLH was.
I watched half of it. The first 15-20 minutes, documenting his past, were cool. Then it got too into "Money May". I could give a **** about how much money he makes. As amazing a boxer as he is, he's a ****ing *****.
I like this. It seems they're targeting the african american fans with this by bringing in LL Cool J, Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, etc to put in the documentary then it was on CBS on a Saturday at 8 PM. Good promotional tool, lets just see if it pays off
