    Nice job Rummy-but another point you fail to recognize fully is the takeover of sports by Corporations and turning it into an elite-only viewship.Keep the unwashed boxing fan out of the MGM and make them watch it from the discomfort of their own couch,while corporate guests are treated to wine and ringside seats.How many actual football fans actually attend the stadium seating for the Superbowl-very few(if any).
    No,the suits at HBO and Showtime(Time Warner and CBS) have hit the Holy Grail and are going to fleece us for their big money grab and bottom line excess.

    It's the only way the workers have ever gotten anything, by organizing and acting in their own interests. That's how we got the 8 hour day, the 5 day workweek, etc. You can track the growth in inequality, the decline in economic security for the majority, directly in line with the decline in union density (i.e. the percentage of the workforce that is unionized).

    I won't go so far as to call them capitalist pigs, because I am not so sure these guys are even smart aware of their own point in a S/D chart to maximize profits. But they are greedy *****s, and I agree with the spirit of your post.

    Would love to see these guys lose big money on this fight.
