I have already been that route before during my own wrestling days. I definitely know better than that. He won't be missing any meals, or running with solar suits on... trust me.
yeah I took wrestling in jr. high and I remember seeing kids with stunted growth and ****. Scary stuff, the coaches even encouraged it. A lot of those kids werent even fat, just cutting muscle mass :-(
Brillant stuff. I really enjoyed it. Dylan dominated. He looked like he was on acid, he wanted to cause some hurt. It gave me jokes cos they look like little men. I love the shoot so early, it nearly got stuffed but he forced the takedown. Great stuff.
In all honesty, I am about as big a misanthrope as one can find but even I found the comments from that G.A.V poster to be horribly out of line. Must have been his child who lost. :yep Just watched it again. That kid is deisel. He will be swimming with sharks, Ohio is a badass wrestling state. Possibly on par with Pennslyvania. Best of luck with his developement...
Thanks. I grew up in the Ohio wrestling system. 95% of the Tournaments that we go to are in Ohio and PA.
Yeah, that was ridiculous. When I was a Senior my team won OVAC's. Our program really fell to **** because we didn't have ANYONE coming up through the youth system. This is my second year coaching and we have a very deep team now. The best part (for the future) is that 30 of our kids are 8 years old or under. I have been bringing in young kids and they are sticking with it. The experience is going to be huge for the program in the future. If the kids stick with it... and we have SEVERAL young kids who are sons of wrestlers that I came up with. The second generation is on it's way baby!!
Omg. This kid is overrated. I'm sorry but his record is just not up to par yet. I mean so what he won few matches, this kid he beat he placed FOURTH in the nationals. Thats not THAT impressive. I dont think he's a competition for Dan Gable and Fedor yet. Not to mention the tournaments he enters DO NOT check for illegal substances. I'll believe he's clean once he enters a tournament that is actually strict about that.
I'm no parent, and no expert but just an FYI, my experience has always been that "second generation" always grew as just ridiculous assholes as persons because their parents were only concerned about their sons wrestling. REALLY cocky, REALLY condescending to people who HAVEN't been wrestling since they were 2.
You must have had some odd experiences then. I was a "first generation" wrestler myself, and I never dealt with anyone like that.
