He won by KO in the second round. The guy he fought had 3 times as many amateur fights than did Herbert.

18, thanks for the input. We are trying to have him fight every month for the next year but after this fight we are having a hard time getting him opponents. Herbert is a very hard hitter and has a chin of granite. In ten years as a amateur I have never heard of him being stunned let alone stopped.

 

Souljah TV did the video. I would have preferred to hear the punches and the crowd myself.

He will definitely fight next April in our second local fight night. However, we are negotiating a fight a month until then. He has had fight offers in El Paso, Texas, Albuquerque, New Mexico and possibly New York City. Not sure what we will do yet.

Well, if things go as planned. Either his fight in April or October of next year will be on the undercard of Top Rank's lightweight fighter, Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios. Brandon is to get a title shot then if he keeps winning. Top Rank has told us they want to have the fight here in Garden City, Kansas, Brandon's home town. That means that the fight will either be carried by Show Time or HBO. So yes it will be televised.
