Another Puerto Rican with a fabulous lead hook!...Boy I tell ya Emanuel Stewards 1+2 style of fighters should head over to Puerto Rico for a couple of lessons on how to throw a proper left/right hook!...I knew JuanMa's lead right hook was gonna be impressive in this fight and he iced him in 1 round with it. Lead hooks are the first punch a Puerto Rican ever learns how to throw! Everything else is just secondary:rofl

 

Juanma will do some good things at the top. Great speed and power, I hope he gets some hype behind him, he deserves much more hype than that of Jorge Linares a division up has been getting.

I'd take Lopez over Vasquez anytime. Vasquez too hittable.

Thats what impressed me, De Leon has a solid ass chin and JuanMa cracked his chin no problem. I don't know about you but I think JuanMa has a shot against Vazquez and Marquez who have just got done murdering each other in 3 brutal fights. Marquez I don't think could take another fight with a serious power puncher. And Vazquez who I think should be able to trouble JuanMa with his inside game still has been down so many times in his last several fights, that I don't know how much longer he could hold up the abuse.

This cat really has a big talented pool to choose from if he does turn out to be the real deal, and imagine if he improves? He is being promoted by the best promotional company in the world.

De Leon, Vazquez, Marquez, Linares, Guerrero, Penalosa, Caballero, Molitor, Hell even some Pr vs Pr action - Eric Morel and Mario Santiago!....JuanMa is a BIG ass 122lber, he could easily move up to 126 without being at any kind of disadvantage.

If this cat keeps winning he will connect with his Puerto Rican people HARDCORE like Trinidad did. He is charismatic and what he did in the post fight press conference is exactly what he needs to do if he wants to quickly be brought into the limelight.

 

Jec - He ought to be heavily favoured over Vasquez or Marquez, not only are those guys likely done, but they are both able to be hurt and have defensive lapses, JuanMa will only get better at age 24.

No longer a prospect, but a very promising young fighter and well schooled. Very surprised he had less hype than he did going in, when I watched his earlier fights I was impressed.

Juanma's never been done, never shown chinny indicators, why would Vasquez be favoured?

 

This kid looks like he has P4P ability.He has a very confident and relaxed demeanour and serious power.

 

Nice ffing right hook, Juanman can load up and has good timing. I also think he has a good chin, considering that he took some shots from PDL
