Even in the video, you can see where Valero, who sounds like he really does hit a ton, will throw a punch and leave it out there leaving his head wide open. He also will throw punches, pull back, and look for the effect. He looks a bit quicker there, which makes me think he has fallen in love with his power. A good trainer could turn him into something special.
Yup you can clearly see Valero's flaws and he got exposed more than a few times by EM in this sparring session. He really needs to focus on his fundamentals because once he will fight a top opponent he will get hurt.
The sparring with valero starts a bit later in the video. they show all Erik's partners in that training camp.

cool vid. thanks quik Valero handled himself pretty well in there but of course its only sparring so you can read a little into it but not too much.
didn't look like a light session to me you gotta love the way Morales goes low and bends his knees a little and then comes back with a vicious right hand over the top right down the pipe.
