Reminds me of a video they said about Ricky.

"Ricky spars with 130 pounder boxers and beat them for 12 rounds"

    SO Pac is?

"Pac spars with middle weights and take their beating while make a beating"

man i ve been watching shawn since he was about 7 or8 his dad used to bring him and his brother down to are gym this kid is the real deal he has beat a lot of the top contenders when they were in the amatuers. danny jacob shawn estrada and alot more shawn won the very first world golden gloves back in 07. He has real power good boxing skills and slick defense he used to spar with kelly pavlik the only problem i see is shawn is a shorter middle weight. but he will defintly be a world champion some day

Yea I saw some of Shawns amatuer fights too. My trainer used to spar with him and his brother. He was a hell of a football player too.. an all around athlete really.

definitely the thing that stands out about me. You can tell he's been boxing all his life, slips punches, weaves, then gets right back into action, fights well inside, got one-punch POWER (which wasn't really showed too too much in that clip). Manny gonna have a hard time with him and Henry at first, but you better believe after a few weeks he gon be ready as hell for Cotto.

Henry looks like a perfect choice to emulate Cotto.

    I wonder if he'll be earning Roach's $1000 incentive.

Porter is a somewhat faster version of Cotto...He's not as flatfooted when he sets to punch and he the same type of jab, but as fast as his choice in combination and type of aggression, ability to cut off the ring is very different. Im assuming they use Porter as a way to prepare for the jab and size.

Omar Henry is a scary resemblance of Cotto. Even the throwing technique in Omar is almost the same. His choice in punches is very similar to Cotto's, the body attack, the ability to cut off the ring, all spell Cotto...but even scarier thought it his stronger right hand. He doesnt have Cotto's straight right hand...it's more of an overhand right, but it's very similar to Cotto's. Omar's guard is also similar to Cotto's

    BUT!

Cotto as of late has become more of a patient counter puncher. His guard has changed as well. He's adapted more of a peek-a-boo shell. It was seen in the first 3 rounds against Clottey. Then he reverted back to the same guard once he was cut. He also needs to prepare for someone who fights off the backfoot. Neither of these guys are doing that. Cotto's overall game will throw Manny off. He likes it when things go according to plan. We've all seen what happens when **** doesnt go according to plan.

This will be a true test as to whether Manny has learned anything from the Marquez fights :bbb:smoke:bbb
