I agree it's not a good idea to bring your young kids ringside to a fight. I remember how hard it was to watch Arreola's daughter cry after he was torched by Vitali.

It sure is easy for some "fans" to call a man who has acheived the status of Heavyweight Champion a "Bum". Of course it's easier to sit on your arse in the peanut gallery where you don't have to look in the mirror and critisize someone who's actuall done something with their life. :hi:

exactly, likable guy, a Russian Cinderella man without the happy ending...sad to see that, hope he has an enjoyable and healthy retirement

That's the first time I've seen the video. Very nice quality too.

Its a sad but strangely fitting ending. Maskaev was always vulnerable to certain styles because of his slow hands.

He had his moments. Some very good ones. Its time for him to hang them up.

Kevin Johnson could take a page out of Maskaev's book on how to behave after a fight.

Very depressing. Gotta admire his heart. He had a relatively good run. His style aged like cream cheese rather than fine wine.

LOL. That was a good win for Nagy. He trains at my gym here in Houston. He beat Maskaev to his knees.
