i just can't pick a winner here, there are still some open questions that need to be answered before i make a prediction: what will sam peter's weight be? if he is 260+ i will pick chambers. what do we know about chambers' chin? he has been in the ring with guinn, brock and povetkin, three reasonable punchers but not in peter's league. how good is chambers' stamina? he seemed to fade in the povetkin fight. chambers also has a low workrate which means that he won't outscore peter by much. let's not forget that peter can also box a bit (at least sometimes), so he could also win a decision.
I have doubts about Chambers conditioning. Against Povetkin he faded badly down the stretch. If he's going to win it'll be by a decision but Peter is going to wear him down. Despite getting floored 3 times against McCline, Peter showed great stamina. I'm thinking Peter kayos Chambers mid to late rounds.
Not in Petter'e league ????? The guy cant box. He is slow and works out like a dog. All of the names above beat Peter. Call him the Human Heavybag.
Peter is probably the least skilled fighter to ever hold a heavyweight belt. Chambers should be able to handle him.
Excuse me. Ya --- he is a big galute. You do not want to attack his fist with your face. But he shouldnt be able to hit Chambers in the ass, let alone the face. Peter's best bet is the headlock and rabitt punch to the back of the head. Now --- who wants to see that stuff. Definately doesnt belong in a boxing ring. I just saw the Chambers fight, and Peter impressed more than Chambers. Even thou he lost, he showed some good stuff that I hadnt seen him do before. If he could only get in some sort of shape where he could go the distance and maintain an acceptable level of energy and output during the whole coarse of the fight ---- then would he be able to realize his potential.
