Of course he did, if you watched any of Floyd's post fight interviewes it was crystal clear that he had just been in a rough fight. When he was getting massaged he talked about the injury he sustained and how Canelo was a warrior. Not only that but it was the closest fight Floyd had since DLH / Castillo and it was the exact same scorecards as Maidana a fight that Floyd didn't prepare nearly as much as he did against Canelo because he knew Maidana was an easier fight than Canelo and he could win it without a high level gameplan like he needed vs Canelo. Of course Canelo would have rematched Floyd he wanted the rematch, and still wanted the rematch as recently as last year. It's his only loss of course he wanted a rematch to avenge it lol. Come on AA this kind of BS doesn't work with me you know this !

People were scoring this fight based on the fact Maidana was doing better than they expected.

Floyd won that all day long

Lol nothing works with you, even Canelos own admission after the fight that he couldn’t lay a bloody glove on him wouldn’t sway your opinion, you’re a pearler Shadow you know that.

You keep coming back to that quote. He was just showing Floyd respect not wanting to complain about the judges. Not dissimilar to Jo Jo Diaz's comments praising GRJ and showing him respect after dropping the decision to GRJ over the weekend. Canelo was confirming to the interviewer how hard it was to hit Floyd, and Floyd was certainly using an extreme amount of upper body movement and flinching more than we've ever seen Floyd flinch before. of course he was hard to hit with the kind of gameplan Floyd employed.

Alexander did make Maidana his son. Probably why Floyd thought it would be an easy fight for him.

bad logic here... a fighter knowiing(feeling) he lost/won doesnt mean he actually did..

anyway, one thing you have to respect a lot, every fight that was razor close or he "lost" he took the rematch without hesitation.

It was close, but I had it 7-5 to Floyd.... Maidana eeked out a draw at best, and goes down as one of the top 5 toughest opponents of Floyds entire career... HANDS Down!

Every unbiased boxing fan KNOWS Maidana beat Mayweather in fight 1. He roughed him up & Mayweathers only answer was to run, hold & elbow smash. Maidana proved the Mayweather could not FIGHT!!! Afterwards he cried & bleated to anyone that would listen that " Maydaina roughed me up & bullied me It wasnt fair the ref did nothing to stop him. " ROFLMAO
Floyd you were in a fight, the ref let you BOTH fight your fights Yeah it was a roughhouse you both were allowed to break rules. It wasnt up to the ref to stop Maidana beating you up it was up to YOU!!!!!!. You were no.t man enough
You were frorced to take a rematch to save face so to make sure Maidana was prevented from " beating you up & bullying you" again Kenny Bayless was hired to protect you like a Mother Hen protecting her chick. He totally stopped Maidana from getting inside. I wonder just how many times Kenny yelled "STOP: in those 12 rounds
Exactl;y like he did in the Hatton fight. The icing on the cake came when Bayless took a point from Maidana for an elbow shiver LOL Something you did all fight long. I wont even go into the "BITE CLAIM" lunacy ROFL
Everyone knows Floyd really got his ass kicked same as he had by Castillo
