He basically did nothing the second half of that fight and lost accordingly. Floyd won more rounds. If fights were judged as a totality, I think Maidana did more damage.

I dont agree with people who think Maidana won. It was a hell of a fight. I must have watched 5+ times. I think I will today. Im at work why not?

But Mayweather won it. Maidana roughed him up good both with punches and being a little dirty (not sloppy like Porter, which I like) but I still think Mayweather won with ring generalship and effective punching. Its beautiful watching him work when pushed. Great fight. As always hes always much better the second time.
