It also looked as if Khan hit Peterson when he was down...that foul has been forgotten about...

He cant deal with pressure. probably to cocky to fix his style wich clearly includes ignoring the rules to push for seperation.
Maybe Khan could spend the time working on slipping punches and turning an opponent around cleanly that he does talking **** on twitter.

Mayweather's elbow is something that should be handled. But it is much more subtle. Not better, but harder to see and catch.

    A couple of things though......

That clip was of multiple fights. IF you had one fight that had that many elbows, or even pushes, it would carry more weight.

Hatton was initiating those holds. It was his M.O. in that, and other fights.

The difference is that Mayweather is more subtle with it. He uses his forearm, but he doesn't make big, forceful movements. He just keeps them away, creates a bit of distance, and often hits them back with short punches or ties them up to prompt a break.

because a lot of times, Floyd would have his FOREARM out and his opponent would walk into it. Then when it does become an actual elbow, it's on accident. Plus Floyd will stop it after being warned a few times.

And he doesn't push them halfway across the ring. That's the biggest difference here

Because he's had his own ref in every other fight! If you don't know about the favours Khan has been done by refs (particularly in the UK) do some research, they aren't hard to find.

Some inside fighting would solve that pushing issue.

What is weird to me is Khan doesnt seem to know the issue here.

We could see him get into the same problem again.

Some referees are strict, some are not. But if a referee has a bee in his bonnet about something you stop doing it if you have any sense. You can hear him shout "last time" before he deducted the first point, clearly referring to the fact he was going to start taking points.

Both of those point deductions were clearly warranted. In the 12th, he pushes Peterson away with 2 hands, and then sucker punches Peterson after the ref steps in. For some reason though, people try to claim that's not a problem and that it happens all the time.

Good call. Refs should use that from now on. When they see a foul continuously occuring, they should step in, and then ask the offended party if the fouling bothers them. Only if the fighter says yes should they deduct a point.

They push, lean on each other in every fight. Is this place the twilight zone, like it is the first time this has happened.
