From those 50 you can take 20 light shoves/pushes away and you still have 30. That is just waaaay too much.

I dont see the big deal about the pushes. I understand it's against the rules, but it doesnt seem to be that big a deal to me. Go on youtube and watch george foreman. he made pushing and art from. the one minor foul that i feel really needs to be addressed is clinching. its a foul that is rarely addressed, and it makes for terrible fights. at least with amir he was fighting. he used the pushes in an offensive manner. think about all the terribly boring fights you have watched because of guys like Ruiz n Wlad.

You know what much of this adverse reaction against the ref's 2 deductions really is about?

Just as with the JMM v Pac fight, most people just regurgitate what the announcers/commentators are going on about. And most people can't think for themselves alas. RE that fight with later viewing, esp with the sound off, had some enlightened folks changing their minds, even though they were all worked up form the announcers initially.

Here, if the HBO guys had clammored against Khan for all the infractions despite all the warnings, people would have screamed he should have been DQed, instead of now going after the ref.

The big difference is that Floyd is being clamped by Hatton, thats against the rules and mayweather can get him off and break that clinchfest

Khan is pushing a guy away cause he doesnt want him close

Likewise Wlad clinches when a guy gets close it's unacceptable

inside fighting is a part of the sport
