If you can't see the difference between Ali, slightly pushing Frazier to get some space from being smothered against the ropes and immediately punching afterwards and Khan throwing a combo in the middle of the ring, then just SHOVING Peterson for no other reason than because he's incapable of throwing punches at close range, I can't do nothing for you son. atsch
Can someone gif the bit at 0:55 where Peterson is sprinting after the running Khan..? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XEpQpOU5i8w[/ame]
atsch Those weren't even shoves. It was light as hell. The hardest push was when the ref already broke em up
Can't forget this Gem: This content is protected I swear these ESB posters are professional comedians!
:roflatsch Who made that? Khan is a disgrace I hope Peterson tells him to go rematch Prescott before getting a shot at the champ.
I think running, pushing, elbowing, forearm on the back of the neck, armpit over back of neck, and hugging are all counts for points deductions. In general I hate hugging the worst. Many Ruiz fights could have been saved and the right call made if he were deducted for hugging. If fighters do it subtly every now in then I think they are all decent tricks of the trade, but when they abuse them, I think refs should be more forceful like the ref last Sat.
Not double standards, its the refs decision to call the fouls, In order to make your statement plausible the same ref would have to have refereed all the fights where pushing off took place.
