The fact is that Khan excessively pushed, as well as holding/pushing Lamont's head down. He does it WAY too much.

That video should've included Khan's interview with Merchant crying that he was the cleaner fighter.

I hope the rematch takes place in the UK so Khan can be finished off in his homeland.

This. That was one minute of elbows from several fights. Khans clip is three minutes straight of pushing 67 times in ONE fight:lol:

Many boxers push but Khan did it a too frequently and too blatantly with a referee from DC area.

I mean.... he does pivot but he doesn't know how to seperate or create space after being losing that property in the ring. He has a hard time controlling distance once he's caught up on the inside. Usually he's able to maintain that control of distance but with peterson... he was able to make it "his" fight for at least half the time.

Khan is overrated. But he is good enough to beat most guys in the division. The point deduction was a good call. Having it in the last round is a little suspicious but I don't think the ref meant any harm to make Khan lose.

It was very foul refereeing. Peterson is a brawler slugger who goes down low. As a boxer You have little option but to push and what khan was doing wasn't bad sportsmanship every boxer pushes a slugger. In saying that Khans sore loser campaign is pretty foul aswell.

Khan circled around with his footwork, he didn't actually pivot.

    Crap like this

This works when you have a lot of room to move, but when your back is against the ropes, you need to pivot

that is just a bizarre sequence. Peterson is in full jog and Khan really does look like he's going backwards on a goddamn unicycle.

That was the worst of it.... Cotto and Shane had episodes of this same thing in their most recent fights where they were running to get enough breathing room to be able to get off some offense.

    :deal
Khan was nullifying Peterson's offense by fouling. Peterson exposed Amir Khan's lack of inside game and was beating him handily on the inside. To allow Khan to push would be like allowing pass interference because a team's pass defense sucks.

    I did.

    :rofl

Pushing is a part of boxing but Khan's pushing was excessive and blatant. If you show me another fight with such frequent and flagrant pushing, then you may have an argument. Head butts are a part of boxing too. Like pushing they are not often penalized but in situations like Mayweather/Ortiz where the head butts are frequent and intentional, they are.
