Wasn't Maidana supposed to be a "joke" opponent?, wasn't the first fight brutal and competitive?. Even then, Mayweather gave him a rematch when he didn't have to.

Whoever Mayweather fights he won't get credit. Even if he fought and beat Pacquiao in 2009-2011, he won't get any credit for it.

 

Total BS. Didn't have to? What was the alternative if he ever took the rematch? Duck Pac, Bradley, Khan, GGG? Rematch Cotto or Canelo?

Fact is, that was ANOTHER easy pay-day for Floyd.

Very respectable opinion, and I somewhat agree. I didn't fall for any of that "I'm go for the KO" garbage, I don't feel like he's obligated to give the fans a show though. I do think Pacquiao should be his opponent (obviously) but I don't think Golovkin should be unless he fights at 154 prior and looks healthy.

How? He said Floyd needs to entertain if he says he is. I think you're too obsessed with the fans and not the fighters.
