[VIDEO] Reasons why Pacquiao will win against Floyd Mayweather Jr

Except that that "bloated and 38 year old" Marquez has been fighting that way all his life and has previously fought Manny for a good 24rounds.

If FMJ will win it will not be because he was able to emulate JMM but rather he was able throw his own set of tricks in the middle of the ring.

 

This is actually a really good video...well done. However, If you would allow me to respond to your video:

1. Marquez was able to completely figure out Pacquiao in the latter rounds of their first two fights and completely outboxed Pacquiao and he (Manny) had to fight his way back enough to HOLD-ON AND ESCAPE WITH A CONTROVERSIAL DRAW AND A SD.

2. In Pac vs JMM III, Marquez had Pacquiao figured out from the Opening Bell and outboxed a fighter that you and every other poster and fan thought that Pacquiao was so much better of a fighter than he was in their previous two fights. And I remember all of you (Pac Fans) predicting a KO in 6 rounds. And what all of you found out is that Pacquiao has not improved at all. He does THE EXACT SAME **** he was doing seven years in Pac vs JMM I.

3. In your video, you said and showed Marquez utilize movement. Yet you think that a more athletic, more fluid Fighter with a much higher ring IQ in FMJ will just stand stationary for 12 rounds in a shoulder-roll stance while Manny Bombs-away? :rofl:rofl:rofl

Your video is not showing posters and fans what will happen in their fight...THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT TO HAPPEN IN THEIR FIGHT!!! Expect for this to be BUMPED like crazy May 6th.

You hit the nail on the head. Floyd is excellent at controling range, which the video completely ignores. Then it says Floyd doesnt have the power to back up Marquez when he clearly dropped him during the fight...

You asked for it....you got it. My prediction for Cotto and Marg was that Pac offense is much better than Cotto's Defense and Cotto will do his usual thing and gas out after round 6. And I thought Margarito is just too easy to hit. But those predictions are under a previous username (banned).

Nonito's prediction will go to hell when Mayweather defends himself in a high guard stance instead of a philly shell. The 2nd point of the video is critical : if Pacquiao is able to counter Floyd's jab (or at least beat him to the punch) with his straight left, we have a fight.

First of all Floyd uses the high guard more against Southpaws than he does the philly shell. Second Manny will not be able to counter Floyd's jab bc it will be coming fast and sharp and Floyd will be out of range for Manny to counter it. Floyd will use the shoulder roll on the inside though bc the Southpaw advantage isn't there on the inside bc bth guys will be more squared up. Its funny that the video maker uses Judah as an example when Judah only won 3 rounds in a 12 round bout. Judah is a slick fighter who knew Floyd well. They grew up together and they have sparred as kids and adults for years before even meeting each other in that ring that night.

Manny will get dominated bc the things he doesn't do well is what will do him in against a fighter like Floyd. Manny couldn't even place his lead foot on the outside of Marquez's even though Roach told him over and over to do it. Manny knows one way to fight and if that way is not working he will continue to try and try.

 

I expected it to be a rubbish video, but there were actually some good points in there. I like how it included footage of Donaire examining the shoulder-roll...good stuff.

Some of the points were more dubious and too simplistic, and I still don't see Pac beating Mayweather, but the video raises some interesting issues for this fight. I don't think Pac will be able to counter Mayweather's jab like he did to Cotto and a few others, though -- Mayweather's jab is too quick and comes without warning.

Oh, for everyone saying that Mayweather will use the high guard against Pac -- I agree, but this isn't actually a good thing for Floyd. Mayweather has a great high guard, but in my opinion he's at his very best and most elusive when he's using his shoulder-roll. The high guard seems to limit visibility, mobility, and it also leaves you more open to body shots.

 

Saying that Manny can't counter Floyd's jab because the latter is too fast and sharp is just underestimating Pacquiao's timing ability. We are talking about one of the best offensive fighter at the moment and his hit/getting hit ratio speaks of his great sense of timing.
