[VIDEO] Ricardo Mayorga scuffle at mma press conference -funny as hell !!

Mayorga is a nut. That was odd though, Din got dinged by a black handed slap to the left side of his throat/chin. But the way Mayorga threw it was funny, he was looking at the crowd and then, SLAP!

 

He didn't even touch him. He pretended to punch him, and the other guy pretended to flinch as a joke.

 

He chopped the life out of the MMA dude, pressure blow?

 

That was a back hand chop to the throat. It's a great street technique but is illegal in MMA. This is an interesting fight because Mayorga is no doubt strictly training boxing. If he can catch Din before the takedown - he can knock him out - but if not - Din will punish Ricardo on the ground.

 

Dude nobody said he deserves thanks. He deserves just what you gave him. He is a decent guy. I saw that Rich Gannon fight. Rich Gannon choked him out when it wasn't an MMA fight. Pushed in front of the public by who? The media! He never said any of that crap you are holding against him.

A guy is a Karate, Muay Thai, Boxing, Kempo, or whatever school of striker. It is called striking because different disciplines call it different things or don't include the strike. You use what you are good at. Adjust it if you want or don't. The issue is to train to your art form's strengths and weaknesses.

That's not true...Anderson Silva- current UFC Champ , Rampage Jackson Past UFC Champ , Rashad Evans Past UFC Champ, all excellent excellent fighters....I think Brett Rogers "could" beat anyone in the UFC at Heavy....he's fighting the current strike force heavy champ this weekend who happens to be a black dude from Europe....who could also beat any heavy from the UFC....


Anderson Silva IMO is at the worst tied with Fedor for P4P and he's been more active lately....

Bones Jones, Phil Davis are two up an comers that are as good as any fighter out there with their limited experience.

Mo Lawal is another excellent fighter with strikeforce....huge fight with a very good fighter this weekend I think....I am hard pressed to think of many dudes I'd pick to beat him and he's just begun....

Rampage beat the **** outta Liddell 2x...And Rashad knocked Liddell cold too....Liddell was very highly regarded one time.....but he's no Rampage....:yep
