See how many shots Bowe takes in this round. Prime Lewis, Vitali, Wladimir land jabs and right crosses on him all night before putting him asleep.

 

A prime Bowe is the best big man on the inside I've ever seen, the Bowe from the first Holyfield fight is a match for any heavyweight that has graced the ring imho

He had some wicked combinations.

 

I still think Iron Mike 85 to 90 beats any HW...Maybe I'm biased but thats my opinion.

 

It is a shame about Bowe,he had the potential to do so much more than he did.

 

Bit of a random bump but this was one of Bowe's best performances imo.

What a fighter he was, such a shame he couldnt sustain his prime for more than a couple of years

Bowe would take out Wlad early & uppercut Vitali's head into the cheap seats. I cant think of a worse stylistic matchup for the Klits than Bowe. A big guy with a good jab who was lethal on the inside.

Not many agree with me but the Bowe of 92-93 wouldve beaten any version of Lennox. I only have Ali & Foreman higher in a mythical H2H sense

 

Bowe is one of the biggest wastes of talent the game has seen..............

He was fast, had a superb jab, a great chin, brilliant in-fighting for such a big man, height, tremendous heart and good stamina.

He had charisma, was always great value in an interview, and came to fight.

He was unfortunately beaten by (as happens so often) inner-demons and the fridge.

If only, if only........................


IMO a prime Bowe would have troubled (if not beat) just about any heavy from history; I think a match-up between him in his prime (possibly against Holyfield 1) and Lennox Lewis would have been a classic (still pick the great Lennox though).

For me though Bowe will always be remembered for his Holyfield trilogy, the crazy fights with Golota, and for the way he wasted his undoubted gifts:bbb
