With due respect to all posters and their opinions, I find it amusing that some of you think you know what deals were on the table when quite simply you don't.

The very people you criticise and call liars in one post you claim their word is gospel when it suits you!

Eze, no disrespect but if a deal aint done it aint done, it is then open to Floyd and Bob to say any old bull****.

Who's to say other "roadblocks" wouldn't have come into play if the alleged terms were met ....

Arum eventually became pissed because like DLH. Mayweather made mega-millions without him.

 

I seriously, seriously doubt that given a fair chance at Mayweather, Margarito would turn it down. Seriously doubt it.

To me. I can kind of understand why Margarito turns down a Mayweather fight. Possibly expecting the deal to happen after Mayweather fights Judah and he fights Gomez.

Which, an offer was in place, Mayweather agreed with Arum on 8 million to fight Margarito but Arum would only offer 7 for Cotto, Hatton and no DLH fight. Plus that would keep Mayweather a Top Rank fighter... which he just bought his contract out.


Again while I kind of see why Margarito would turn it down.... I have to think of all the bitching and complaining he did about people docking and dodging him. He would jump at the opportunity.

 

Look at Mayweather V Marquez for example, the fight I couldn't have invisaged a few years back.

Here we have Floyd accepting catchweights and even paying penalties to make the fight happen ...

Yet with some of the other fights, which I guarantee the boxing community would rather have saw happen, it becomes Arum's fault, or the terms aint right ... etc, etc etcetera :verysad

Possibly. But Floyd is too good for Margo right? I mean Margo isn't gonna land anything all night, so who cares :yep

 

I mean every time you step in the ring you are putting your life on the line. Part of boxing is getting hit. Floyd just gets hit less than the norm. Floyd is one of those fighter who stands in the pocket. Margarito is one of those guys whom loads his gloves.

 

Yes, yes, I know. That's why he wants Pac to take "OSDT" to make sure he preserves his life. We all know that "one-dimensional midget" has killed half of his opponents in the ring. Floyd is a delicate little flower that needs to be protected at all cost :thumbsup
