What is wrong with my logic? That I don't agree with the ESB rumor that Roy only looked good against cab drivers? In a post comparing Roy to Hopkins, I thought it was funny that the little bit about Roy beating Hopkins was left out. "Hilariously stupid" actually.

His post was pathetic and hate filled, and me saying it was biased was right on point.

Jones would have done more than hold his own against Robinson.

LOL even roy jones himself uses the "I wasn't in my prime" excuse. WHY ARE YOU STILL FIGHTING IF YOU ADMITTED YOUR NOT GOOD ANYMORE.

Yeah 116-112 = ass whipping :nut

Jones groupies mad that Hopkins has surpassed him, he's fighting for titles now at 48 while Jones is rapping for cash in Russia and willingly getting his horrendous glass jaw shattered in Australia :verysad

    Facts:

    • Jones had no chin
    • Jones had no plan B
    • Depsite being one of the most physically gifted fighters of his generation he chose to dope to get ahead
    • Lacked the boxing fundamentals to get him through 12 rounds of boxing once his reflexes went.

How did Hopkins surpass him, boiling himself down to 160 to fight smaller guys?

Ahhh the old 'boiling down to make 160' chestnut, tell me something If Hopkins was 'boiling' himself down to make 160 how'd he manage to make 157lb against Tito and 156lb against Oscar at the age of 40? surely a fighter who 'boils' himself down to make weight wouldn't be able to get below said weight and remain effective yet Hopkins got within touching distance of JMW aged 40 :think Ironically he only started having trouble making 160 towards the end of his MW reign see Taylor fights.

Typical Hopkins hater logic>>>Only fights small guys (beats big guys) only fights slow guys (beats fast guy) erm.....only fights..erm.....lost to Calzaghe :hi:

What fast guy did Hopkins beat? When in with fast guys, he doesn't fight. He runs, holds, fakes low blows, and quits :patsch :rofl

Any version of Hopkins loses to any version of pre-Hw Roy Jones. Fact. 60-40 to get his ass kicked didn't sound too good at the time.. But he was perfectly happy to move up to LHW once Roy was no longer relevant.

Hell he was even pulling that faking crap with shot Roy who had just been knocked out by Danny Green. No way does he beat pre-HW Roy, ever...

Thats because he knew Roy had his number ..Why else did he wait for Roy to get KO Ed 3 times before agreeing to a rematch ..Hopkins for what it's worth is considered a bottom feeder by 2 of his peers in Toney and Jones ..They must know the same thing we do

When looking at all your recent posts about Roy its quite clear you lack any form of objectivity towards the man.

Its fine to be a fan or even a fanboy but just acknowledge it and don't try to seem factual.

You're out of your ****ing mind. EVERYBODY will remember RJJ, he's in the running for GOAT. Everybody will remember Nard too, as the man who probably got the most out of his talent. Everybody but you knows that prime for prime the fight is no contest. RJJ does whatever he wants to vs. Bernard, they're not on the same level and I'm a Hopkins fan. No shame in that, you can count the number of fighters on Roy's level p4p on one hand.
