Good god that video quality. How on earth do you do this reznick? I'm currently working on my blog and Hagler breakdowns, please, please, please find me some Joe Louis or SRR with this kind of quality so I can teach some of these kids about the old school guys.
This is from the Pathe youtube channel. Lots of good stuff there. The more you research footage, the better feel you have for where to look and what to search. Sweetfights has some really quality Louis footage. I posted one in the thread that shows Galento knocking down Louis in 1080p.
Anyone else think that Schmeling kinda looks like Golovkin from :35 on? His head movement, footwork, the way he stalks and punches. That left hook at :46 was nasty. Guys like Schmeling are underestimated.
The quality of that film is great. Same for the Foord-Baer fight also shown. Foord came to a tragic end in '42. He evidently was playing around with a pistol in front of his wife and accidentally shot himself in the face and died.
