    Teddy Atlas sounding a bit like Bret Hart.

    I kind of agree with the overrated part. But then it is like most things. Depends who you are talking to. Some can be level headed, others might immediately dive into the he would kill Marvin Hagler territory.

    Atlas is a very unstable guy. He comes out with some decent stuff but also a lot of nonsense. This is the latter.

    Majority of knowledgeable boxingheads (fighters, coaches, analysts, fight predictors, ect) knew it was going to be a competitive fight and not a blow out, and the actual odds of the fight mirrored that.

    'people thought'.... is a complete cop out statement that can be used in failed attempts to validate calling any fighter overrated. you can search and find 'people' that say anything and everything. Doesnt mean that was the general view going into the fight by people closest to the sport and doesnt validate someone being overrated, just because some people on a forum somewhere thought something ridiculous.


    Go look at the break down of who fighters and coaches thought would win and how, go look at who writers thought would win and how, go look at who fight predictors thought would win and how, go look at the official odds for just about any sports book....


    Out of all the them, the amount of people that thought Golovkin would take Canelo out early is an extreme minority.

    Lol atlas has a mental disorder (narcacist). He's blinded by inner hate and jealousy and craves attention that it wouldn't matter what fighter or ever weather its boxing or something else his behaviour won't change.
    Boxing is a sport that can be manipulated and let's in all the nutjobs who claim to be someone or something.

    GGG could be over rated or under rated its relative and subjective.

    Teddy Atlas said in an interview that he believed Canelo would win this fight, because Canelo wanted to win.......

    That's literally what the idiot said.


    It's hardly surprising I guess, given this is the guy who as a trainer during a close competitive fight, instead of giving his fighter tactical advice, asked him "Do you believe in magic?"


    Teddy isn't a few sandwichs short of a picnic, he's forgot to buy the bloody loaf.
