Very well put: Hopkins is a master at defense without using unnecessary energy. The only boxers I'd put ahead of him are Whitaker and Mayweather Jr. Good video but I don't know why you put Hamed in there because he has a horrible defense.
Hamed had great Speed Eye and Reflex !!! for me Speed Reflex and Good Eye is the best defense in This Sport Look Floyd Mayweather Speed Reflex he have all and he is one of the greates Defensive Boxer of all Times No Doubt !!! Hamed was with his style very powerful he is one of the Greates

Pernell Whittaker was right handed, of course youre going to be a defensive genius fighting with your strong side first.
Hmm...arm flailing isn't really a defence move I don't think. He just seems to have an awkard style as a defence. But in that long clip with Steve Robinson, where's Hamed is on the backfoot and arms flailing, I like how he got tagged by a Robinson left.
James Toney must be mentioned in such a thread - fighting bigger guys , stopping them many times , in many of the times was fat/drained and out of shape ,wasn't picky , and after all of this was (still) never stopped. about steroids - i think it's the standard for the last 2 decades at least.
