I think they would've had a problem with what ever kind of gloves Maidana wanted to use.

    Grants. FFS Floyd.

He did the same with Shane. Wear the Grants or no fight , the only difference was that it was written into the contract.

Mayweather is trying to pull a fast one here.
He has to fight with pillows because of his brittle hands, so he tries to force Marcos to do the same thing.
Notice how fast he gets to "HE IS WEARING THE SAME GLOVES AS I AM!!!11!1", and then tries to play it like "It's settled" and pull away from the conversation in the f-hype video.:nut
He must be scared trying to pull some bull**** like this. It's a disgrace to the sport given the kind of money he is paid to fight.

Those gloves are standard Everlast MX gloves from the factory. Only customized thing about them is the colors.

They are the same gloves Cotto wore. Maybe he doesn't want a bloody nose again..

Iv got an idea, both just agree to fight in a glove they didn't chose, then both are at a slight disadvantage to what they wanted...

It's the commissions job to approve gloves. If Floyd and his team can't accept that, the contract is broken on their end. Period.

The fact that the commission seems to yield to his demands because of his bitching speaks volumes of how corrupt parts of the sport is. Classic moving of the goalposts.

Anybody who defends floyd on this needs to take their mouth off his d***, because he's being a drama queen and obviously shook of Maidana's power. All he mentioned in the buildup was his 80% KO ratio and now Mayweather is doing everything he can to keep him from wearing a punchers glove.

Nobody can support Floyd on this.

Wasn't Floyd crying about DLH forcing him to wear certain gloves? Now he's doing the same to his opponents, smh.

Let me shine a like on this when gloves r approved both fighters try them on ... The gloves that was tried on today had to be different or Floyd would not have objected to them... They are not the same gloves cotto wore or Floyd would have objected
