I guess this is how floyd cleans up boxing, one fighter at a time.......

Except, everytime floyd starts cleaning, he leaves a pile of $hit behind him so not really clean

So has maidana caved and changed gloves then? hope not if he did then he is stupid considering he was within the law and the contract Floyd had zero grounds to demand he wear different gloves.

Why didn't maidana just come with the red gloves in the first place? Wanted to try his luck ? Lmao.

Bottom line is Mayweather doesn't have the legal grounds to force Maidana into wearing a different brand of gloves. The commission rejected the blue ones... Fine then Maidana can wear a different pair of Everlast or Reyes. If Floyd wanted to dictate the brand of gloves, he should have stipulated it in the fight contract. Straight up ***** move by Mayweather.

They were smart to scrutinize the gloves. The "Custom" pair turned out to be unfit for use. However, once they got that straigtened out, the rest was just posturing.

    Posturing? I dont think so.

Ellerbe hinted that they will push nevada not to use any horsehair gloves going forward, citing Floyd health.

We have heard this stuff before.

It reminds me of the Marquez weight bit. Marquez eventually folded. I don't think Maidana will. I'll tell you who is laughing if this continues is Bob Arum:hi:.

In fairness, when there is a controversy between two boxers' camps the night before a fight, the head trainer of one of the two combatants is probably the last person you'd want to hear from if trying to "set everything straight."

    The "Marquez weight bit," huh?

Marquez signed a contract to extend the weight limit to the full WW limit of 147 pounds several days before the weigh in. Pocketed an extra $600,000 from it. Days in advance.
