another great video. this guy was a absolute beast a human piston trouble for any fighter in his weight classes. I would love to see him in a fight with Duran to masters of the inside game. kid gavilan and Armstrong would have a real battle.
Nice use of head and elbows, too! Anyone ever count how many punches he'd throw in a fight? Certainly over 1,000. The guy wouldn't stop! Sad how he ended up, though.
He was an ATG fighter, but I can't help but think someone like Duran would've made him pay for all the missing he does. He leads himself wide open after those long looping hooks he throws from range and outside. Great fighter though
Armstrong seems wide open, but rarely seems to get hit clean all that much in any of the clips or footage that I've seen of him. His head movement was on point most of the time.
