Bowe was in no place to dictate the mandatory terms to a challenger.

What can't you understand about this?

The standard procedure and split was rejected by Team Lewis. Then they tried to bribe Bowe using the Tony Tucker fight -saying they wouldn't fight Bowe for less than 9 million.

Its your word against Frank Maloenys.

Bowe was pretty brave when he was facing smaller guys or guys that he imagined were "bums". But when faced with a guy his size who had beaten him before who brought the big guns to the fight ... :bolt

**** a single victory. Lewis fought a mans resume and is recognized universally as the greater fighter. Holy fought a mans resume. Bowe fought Holy times. You can put down Lewis is test that you want, as long as you recognize who is greater.

He over trained . Lost too much weight, too fast. And still made Golota quit.

Both at their best - Bowe was better by a landslide.
Lewis knew this. Lewis is greater on paper , but that don't mean much. On paper Zsolt Erdei is greater than Roy Jones.

That's a lie you lying scumbag. Rock lowballed Lennox and it was because he said that from his own mouth that Lewis had no fans. And the Don King/Tony Tucker angle is pathetic on your part. Your timeline is full of lies. STOP LYING TO THE FANS, lmao...

No it represented the lowball 10%. When Lewis eventually called him on his bluff and accepted those terms, the Bowe team proved that they had no intention of agreeing to a fight with Lewis.

Yeah a postfight ringside argument was about as close to a boxing match as Chicken Bowe would allow himself to get. The fact you take pride in it is absolutely pathetic.

    Here we go :deal

All I remember was Bowe dumping the belt into a trashcan and looking proud of it :patsch Poor sod was too dumb to realise his move was both stupid and cowardly and would result in people rightly deriding him for it.

When Bowe fought Holyfield as mandatory challenger , he earned $3m - which was his entitled 25% cut of the purse.

Lewis and Maloney refused that exact same offer and purse split. The 'pricing yourself out' tactic.

When the Tucker fight was signed , Lewis and his team were kicking up a fuss and refusing to share a 75 -25 split , claiming that newly crowned paper champ Lewis was entitled to 80% under the WBC rules.

But he was calling 75/25 split a low blow offer.

Lewis was known throughout his whole career as been a chronic liar and manipulator.

You don't know what was happening at the time and te more you post the more you expose yourself.
