He was down, on the opposite side of the ropes....can't believe he made it up.
If Tua would have been in better shape cardio wise, no doubt he would have been able to finish Barrett.
You think Tua would have learned by now...apparently not.

To get up from that hard of a knock down, and still survive that much longer was impressive. Barrett was still throwing back after the KD, it was not all holding on.

Good for him. Great performance of survival and deserved win.

Nothing but respect for Barrett. The guy is a true warrior and though he's lost most of his biggest fights he's a fighter's fighter and it's great to see him pick up the win he clearly deserved against Tua last time.

It looked like it was going to be a KO for sure, great heart from Barrett to get up from that.

Tua looks terrible but Barrett entered the ring in great shape - perhaps his best ever and to say he looked 'worse than ever' is just plain outlandish.

Barrett is 40, has been knocked out five times and is known for having a weak chin.
He went through the ropes and it looked likt it was over.

I'm glad Monte erased that overrated has-been, never-was Tua from the rankings. Tua being rated #3, not having fought ANYONE in the top 20 in 10 years was a joke.

Having watch the knock down several times in slo mo, although decent punches from Tua.....I am not convinced that they were devastating KO punches.
It looked to me more of a combination of getting caught and tiredness that resulted in Barrett being decked.

Had those punches landed on Barrett earlier on in the fight I would have expected Barrett to have remained on his feet.

Big ups to Monte "Two Gunz" Barrett for having one heck of a heart . He looked like he was gone there for a moment and then he somehow managed to get up and finish the round standing.

    Congrats, Monte!!
