Tua looked like he had him there. Getting off the canvas and staying on his feet after that barrage was a great display of heart. Good for Monte. Hopefully that's the last we'll see of the Tuaman. He's done.

One of the best cases of heavyweight survival I've seen since Shavers-Holmes.

I'm shocked he got up from that knockdown. Def showed heart, I hope both of them retire b/c both can def get hurt if they continue to fight. I think it's time to hang up the gloves...

Well, Barret can still be the step up fighter he always has been, and Tua still has some celebrity matches he can make.

Neither has been a viable contender for about 10 years so IMO this fight doesn't make or break either.

It wasn't just that knockdown. Barrett was taking serious beating in last 3 rounds. But he won the decision fairly, I had it 115-112 for Monte "Two Guts" Barrett.

The loss absolutely destoyed Tua as he's been in serious financial trouble for some time and was hoping for a shot at a top 10 guy, then a Klitschko.

This fight pretty much breaks Tua.........as it proves that Tua 's struggles in his previous 3 fights were not just isolated bad nights at the office.

Tua could not achieve in 24 rounds what Solis achieved in 1 and Haye in 5.

No doubt Barrett could get some fights against prospects wanting to test themselves.
Tua would be a less attractive draw to prospects, as they know he is still a dangerous puncher.

****, Tua missed a huge right hand towards the end there that could have possibly ended it.

Tua was overweight, he has no one to blame except himself. Guess he didn't really want it that bad.
