terrible stoppage indeed . anyway TKO6 ; Lewis TKO6 was legit cuz Vitali's face looked like pizza face ! Charr had only one cut ! :yep:deal
You must be blind. Vitali was still winning the round, but Charr was the one coming forward, and he was starting to land decent punches of his own. He was clearly starting to figure things out in the ring. Heck, the cut wasn't even OVER his eye, it was on the side. And they didn't give the corner a chance to work on it. What more needs to be said? --------- Vitali obviously arranged to have the fight stopped at any possible excuse, in order to avoid having to go into the later rounds. (and then he thumbed Charr, possibly even on purpose.) A total *****. **** Vitali, he should retire in disgrace. I'm completely disgusted with this guy.
I saw it, not even a second after the glove hit him there were 2 drops of blood coming out. (closeup)
But the fact that if the loser had been allowed continue it would have been very bad for them is the same, and Vitalis cuts was 5 times as bad as that!
terrible stoppage, vitali fights like the tin man! a guy on stilts would look more coordinated than vitali!
I wonder if those grant gloves had the same type of plastic like material that Nazim discovered on Mayweathers gloves he clearly thumbed him blatantly, who jabs like that? your taught to turn that over meaning thumb down. Charr may be able to request a review here and get it over turned to a NC by accidental foul
It wasn't the glove, it was the thumb. In all seriousness, it looked to me like Vitali thumbed him on purpose. He rarely goes inside and hooks like that, especially if he has control in the fight.
Maybe they should have let him continue, but it was really a good call for Charr's career. He was possibly saved from serious eye injury, and his bravery way enhanced his reputation. I expect to see him get a good high profile big money fight again now.
Charr could have been DQd for kicking the ropes tho. kicking the ropes is illegal in Germany, and having a cut away from the eye is an outright stoppage
