Forget about the Schmeling fight and the others in which he was dropped or wobbled?

Your points are idiotic. WALCOTT HIMSELF THE MAN WHO FELT BOTH FIGHTERS HARDEST BLOWS IS STATING MARCIANO HIT HARDER PUNCH FOR PUNCH! Who do you think you are to in any way discredit his first hand expert comments? PERIOD.

On the Tyson thread he is claiming Douglas was in no way ill because he has a written interview where Douglas states he was in great condition. I have 3 separate sources claiming he was suffering from the Flu, Tonsilitis and Bronchitis but he's not having it one bit.

Statements from a fighter only count when they suit McVey didn't you know that?

Louis was dropped by Galento, jersey joe and stopped by schmeling cant remember anyone else tbf...Ali was dropped by inferior opponents to even them. Louis if hes chinny, then I want that chin...Trinidad is a good example here...Would you say hes chinny???? When he got up U WERE ****ED. Dropping blokes don't mean **** bro if they aint staying down !

I knew it was going to be that clip. I always felt that has to be taken into context on a few levels .. this was shot in the early 70's .. I always felt Walcott was partially trying to be sensitive to a white interviewer and a white audience in a very white time. I also feel Walcott fought an older Louis and a prime Marciano .. lastly it is style .. Marciano did load up most of the time .. Louis was a boxer puncher. I personally don't feel Rocky hit any harder than Louis shot for shot. If anything I favor Joe.

I don't think it's a complete argument at all! I gave arguments citing what a stupid argument it is!
    I have no agenda!
    You need to regroup!

If a fighter is blasting everybody, then they either have very good power, or very good delivery.

If Marciano's power wasn't all that, then his delivery must have been much better than we thought.

The simplest explanation seems to be, that he had skull crushing power.

Marciano and Louis had different styles. Marciano loaded up while Louis waited for the right opening. Remember Louis damaged vertebrae in Schmelings back. Louis also KOED Uzcudun. Uzcudun had a chin of steel. Louis KOED Max Baer, who had a very tough chin as well. Louis hit big Buddy Baer so hard that Baer spun around.

I wouldn't care to be hit by either of them personally!

There is absolutely no reason to believe Walcott comments are anything else but truthful. To somehow read into his statements as being tainted to a white audience is well beyond a stretch. Walcott statements must be taken at face value.

I'll take a fighters opinion on if he was in top shape or ill over that of a journalist.
Your 3 separate sources contradicted themselves 2 said he had a head cold!

My point is Walcott wasnt the same fighter against Marciano as the one that faced Louis, four years earlier,I'm of the opinion that no fighter is still in his prime at 39 years old.
