GGG won the first fight clearly and convincingly

    Canelo won the 2nd fight...just

What will weigh on peoples minds is how the roles reversed over the fights and Canelo in the 2nd fight hunted GGG down and beat him at his own game. Great fighters can adapt, and thats what Canelo did.

Doesn't excuse the travesty of the scorecards from the first fight, but GGG didn't produce in the rematch and it's cost him.

I said to everyone there is no way Canelo would stand toe to toe with GGG and fight. I told everyone if he did that he would get stopped in the 7-8th second fights comes around I can't believe what I'm seeing Canelo is going toe to toe taking GGG shots walking him down.... He landed the harder cleaner shots in my view ..... I was surprised. So I give credit where it is due.

I agree...I thought Canelo came right at him and kinda broke his spirit in the second fight. It was a close fight score wise, but in terms of who I'd rather be, GGG got his ass beat.

I had the second fight closer only because Canelo was more aggressive. I had it 7-5 for GGG or at best 6-6.

If there was no prior conteversy (PEDs, a lenient 6 month ban, Canelo higher purse, Oscar mouthing off, the WBC siding with Canelo etc etc) the end result wouldnt have left such a bitter taste.

And now, with all open support and match-rigging Canelo gets I will probably never give the guy credit for any achievments......

.... unless he cleans up and goes to 175lbs and fights Beterbiev ;)

Credit to Canelo. He has an iron chin and exceptional skills and he went toe to toe with GGG.

However, EVERYTHING is completely rigged in his favour so its to give him his credit.

    Great fighter though.

Canelo beterbiev that's interesting but it's another pointless fight ........"beterbiev was old " . "Callum dropped beterbiev ofc Canelo would fight him ". "Canelo didnt fight him in his prime " lol those would be the excuses on this forum then they'll try to put Gvozdyk on Canelo lol

I thought it was a clear round for Golovkin, but the mobile app I'm using shows that 720 users (42%) had Canelo taking this round against 629 users (26%) for GGG.

Yup. The guy stunned and hurt Usyk in the amateurs. He would shred Canelo to pieces. That's why I want to see Beterbiev-Canelo as its better than seeing Canelo fighting a recovering alcoholic in Kovalev.

i think thats the only threat between canelo unifying all the jewelry. nobody else brings enough of a package to trouble big red. i think he goes after dirrell if he beats jacobs, then goes after andrade.

I'm am a GGG fan, but these disputed Canelo wins dont bother me anymore. I already accepted the fact that Canelo wins a UD everytime unless he is KOed.
